Morelia, Michoacan; as of May 13, 2022. After an intensive rehabilitation process, the games area of ​​the Cuauhtémoc Forest Toy Library is ready to receive thousands of girls and boys. This reopening means the fulfillment of one of the commitments of the municipal president, Alfonso Martínez Alcázar and the honorary president of the DIF Morelia, Paola Delgadillo, for whom children are a central axis in the municipal government.

In this regard, Paola Delgadillo said “these spaces allow girls and boys to learn through play, encourage their motor development, socialization, interaction and enjoy a place outdoors, which is very necessary after the contingency stage. that was lived”.

He shared that it is a rehabilitated area suitable for ages 2 to 12 years old, safe, recreational and in optimal conditions so that they can enjoy it to the fullest. In this context, he announced that the reopening will take place this Saturday, May 14, from 10:00 in the morning and until 6:00 in the afternoon, and will remain that way from Monday to Sunday.

To achieve this, the person in charge of the DIF Morelia office, Agustín Páramo, reported that the broken slides were changed and repaired, an integral game was completely changed, as well as the games for children under 3 years of age and the swings.

He also said that of the three exclusive games for children with disabilities, two were changed and the swing was rehabilitated. In addition, the rubber floor was changed, which provides greater safety for the little ones, and the entire space was rehabilitated.

Regarding the Toy Library, he explained that its interior is being completely renovated, so it will require a greater investment of time, as well as the toilets in the playground, which are also being renovated, and which could be finished in approximately one month. “The president, Paola Delgadillo, has been in every remodeling and rehabilitation process so that everything is of the best quality and the safest for children,” said Agustín Páramo.

This space in the city is one of the favorites of families, who have always enjoyed sharing quality time and being in a safe and fun space, so this reopening is great news.
