MEXICO CITY (appro).- Workshops, talks, conferences, exhibitions, music and a night picnic in the Bosque de Chapultepec are some of the 50 cultural options, most of them free, that Mexico City will offer during the Easter holidays, from this Thursday 14 and until Sunday April 24.
In a conference, the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, led the presentation of the Cultural Billboard of the capital government, as well as some events that it will carry out in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of the federal government and the Catholic Church.
Some activities by day and place are listed below:
-April 14, 15 and 16: Night Picnic in the First Section of Chapultepec Forest. Family event until 11 pm.
-April 14 onwards: Exhibition “Insecta. Forest Festival”, First Section of the Chapultepec Forest.
-April 19 to May 19: Visit to the replica of the Sistine Chapel in the Zócalo of the capital. Admission is free, but you need to make an appointment.
-Exhibition “Genetic mosaic in Mexico: a look from the arts”, with works by more than 50 renowned artists, at the Museum of Mexico City
-New Memorial Octavio Paz and Marie-José Tramini, in the Old College of San Ildefonso
-Function “Celebrating 70 years” in the City Theater Esperanza Iris, of the Folkloric Ballet of Mexico of Amalia Hernández.
-Photographic exhibition of Yann Arthus-Bertrand, “Catalonia from the sky”, in the Paseo de las Culturas Amigas, in Paseo de la Reforma.
-Sculptural exhibition “The Abstract Revolution” by David Camorlinga, at the National Museum of the Revolution.
