East May 4th the world bows at the feet of George Lucas’s creation, Star Wars. With the famous “May the 4th be With You” fans celebrate with marathons, posting photos and more.
The story that gave first steps in 1977 has grown over time, especially in recent years since Disney took over the rights to lucasfilm. From this moment the Galaxy Far Far Away saw a huge expansion that took it beyond the original Lucas films.
In this note we are going to organize the best way to see this vast universe, ideal for those who have not yet started on the path of the Force or for those who directly want to indulge in a rewatch that includes series (animated and live action) and movies. It is worth noting that everyone is the owner of seeing Star Wars in the way they please, this chronology what he seeks is to give a straight and orderly line to history.
When George Lucas created his work, he decided to launch it telling the present of the story, and then take care of the past. This was mainly because the director realized that at that time he did not have enough technology in terms of special effects and cinematography to bring the story to life as he wanted.
In this way Lucas premiered in 1977 Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Three years later it was the turn for Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Finally, three years later, the closure came with Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Sixteen years later, George was able to present to the world the extended view of him with Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. In the same way as with the first installments, using a space of three years, the director released in 2002 Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and in 2005 Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Once Disney concluded the acquisition of the rights to the work, it launched the first installment of the new trilogy that explores the future of the baptized Skywalker Saga.
What is Star Wars about?
Basically this story takes us to a Galaxy Far Far Away where an Empire dominates the galaxy with its tyranny. A rebellion is growing under their noses that will be able to stop this oppressive force. In this context we learn that behind everything there is an ancient battle of good and against evil, released by powerful beings known as Jedi Y Sith.
Where do we start?
Taking advantage of the fact that the saga is divided into three parts, we are going to title these parts as: Rise of the Empire, Birth of the Rebellion Y the new republic.
Rise of the Empire
-Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace
-Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
-The Clone Wars. 7 season animated series. His story serves to deepen the Separatist War and the work of the Jedi order alongside the Clone armies of the Republic.

-Solo: A Star Wars Story. This film introduces us to the origins of the beloved space smuggler and the beginning of his great relationship with the Wookiee prince, Chewbacca.
-Star Wars: Rebels. After the purge, few Jedi have been able to survive. This story brings us before the charismatic crew of the Ghost spaceship. One of its members is the Jedi Kanan Jarrus. By chance of fate or by whim of the force, they will meet a young wanderer sensitive to the force, named Ezra Bridger. The adventure of this group will lead to start of the Rebel Alliance against the Empire.
Birth of the Rebellion
-Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This film that knew how to conquer all the fans of the saga, is the cornerstone to give rise to A New Hope. Its story centers on the efforts of a small group of rebels who discover the empire’s newest threat, the planet-killing Death Star.

This relentless Mandalorian will have a mission that will make him rethink his entire existence, to transport a being of the Force so that the vestiges of the defeated Empire experiment with him. This series from Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau is still ongoing and the third season is eagerly awaited.
-The Book of Boba Fett. The success of The Mandalorian allowed the story to have the luxury of having its spin-off, but focused on the galactic-famous bounty hunter we met in The Empire Strikes Back and thought had died in Return of the Jedi.
-Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
-Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
-Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
What will happen with the next series?
As stated at the beginning, the Star Wars universe is still expanding. This 2022 has two series planned, the first to arrive, precisely on May 27, will be Obi-Wan Kenobi. This story will take us 10 years before the events of A New Hope, so we could place it before Rogue One. The second premiere will be Andorthe story focused on the leader of the Rebellion Cassian Andor (Gabriel Moon). It is known that this series is prior to the events of Rogue One. Its arrival does not yet have a confirmed date, but it will surely be known in a short time.
