Elizabeth Olsen Reveals She Almost Didn’t Come Back As Wanda Maximoff After Her Disintegration In Avengers: Infinity War

elizabeth olsen reveals that Wanda Maximoff almost died permanently after his disappearance at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. The character first appeared in the UCM in Avengers: Age of Ultron 2015 as a villainous ally of Ultronalong with his twin brother peter. Later, Wanda joined the Avengers and, following the loss of Pietro, he was part of the second lineup of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. His great power and emotional vulnerability were key in the story of Captain America: Civil War from 2016, where Wanda ends up as a fugitive.

Wanda and View they returned in Avengers: Infinity Warhelping in the fight against Thanos in Wakanda. During the fight, Thanos kills Vision and decimates half of the Universe, causing Wanda to disintegrate into what is known as the Blip. Nevertheless, Hulk and the other surviving heroes brought Wanda back to life in Avengers: Endgame, and they defeated Thanos once and for all. Despite this, Vision was still dead, and Wanda found herself dealing with this pain in the miniseries. Scarlet Witch and Vision of 2020, manifesting their twin sons, Billy Y Tommy. Wanda’s last appearance comes in the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Elizabeth Olsen would not return after Infiniti War?

Although currently the character is very popular, Wanda almost died permanently in Infinity War. A recent article in New York Times reveals that the character’s faked death originally satisfied Olsen’s “three-movie contract,” and the actress was not required to return in Endgame, commenting that “the power to choose to continue was important to me.” Nevertheless, Kevin Feig was able to convince her to continue with the franchise by launching Scarlet Witch and Vision 2021. Despite initial reluctance to what seemed like a “demotion” to television, Olsen eventually agreed to what would be Wanda’s most popular arc yet.

Thanks to the return of Elizabeth Olsen in Endgame, she was able to star in Scarlet Witch and Vision. Now, Wanda leads Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness next to Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. Wanda’s future in the MCU is uncertain, but there are some opportunities ahead for Elizabeth Olsen’s return, such as the Agatha: House of Darkness series.
