Deadpool's arrival at the MCU makes sense of a scene that was cut from the first movie

Deadpool is poised to break into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a bang. After two successful films, uncertainty took hold of the future of the Merc with a Mouth Marvel on the big screen.

Disney’s acquisition of Fox’s film and television assets in 2019 left up in the air the future of some Marvel characters that might not fit with Disney’s “Family Friendly” ethos. But, Kevin Feige confirmed that Deadpool would continue in the arena.

It took a while, but it was finally confirmed that Deadpool 3 would go into production. It will be the first film of the Merc with a Mouth played by Ryan Reynolds that takes place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, it is possible that Deadpool’s arrival at the MCU makes it canon in retrospect to the other two films. The nature of the character has meant that the two Deadpool movies have a lot of references to the rest of the Marvel adaptations.

The climax of the original film, for example, takes place on a SHIELD Helicarrier scrapped, although this is not directly alluded to.

However, as ScreenRant picks up, there is a deleted scene from the first Deadpool feature film that would now make a lot of sense. The scene in question showed a glimpse of the Raftthe fictional maximum security prison that we would see shortly after in Captain America: Civil War.

In the scene, Ajax (Ed Skrein) is released from captivity. Taking into account that the steps of the Marvel Cinematic Universe point to the formation of the Thunderbolts, it is possible that scene can be recovered. Eye, we speak of possibility, it is not at all a certainty.

The Countess Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has started recruiting good pieces like Yelena Belova or USA Agent. At the moment, it is not clear if the Thunderbolts will end up being confirmed, there is nothing official confirmed.

Besides, the passing of William Hurt, who played Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, can be a setback for this idea. Be that as it may, Deadpool was part of the team on the Marvel NOW!so I wouldn’t mess with those plans, if they come to fruition.
