Culinary fun returns with the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Disneyland Resort invites everyone, friends and families, to come together for the return of the popular Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival that will take place from March 4 to April 26, 2022. This event that takes place for a limited time in Disney California Adventure Park highlights, through gastronomy, art and entertainment, the food and multicultural flavors of the golden statewith a distinctive Disney touch.

Many of the California cultures and regions are part of this diverse banquet of unique dishes and experiences. A lineup of Disney and guest chefs, representing the broad spectrum of the state’s communities, will share their personal stories and culinary recommendations at cooking demonstrations, tasting seminars and exclusive events.

Tasty food and drinks inspired by the Golden State

A dozen Festival Marketplaces or Festival Markets scattered throughout Disney California Adventure will serve irresistible dishes and drinks inspired by typical California ingredients such as avocados, citrus fruits, strawberries, chili peppers and artisan cheeses.

New and returning dishes include the Bacon Garlic Carbonara Macaroni and Cheese, the Beer Cocktail with Toasted Marshmallows, and the Milk Chocolate Caramel Peanut Mickey Macaron, among others. To satisfy all tastes, vegetarian, allergy-free, gluten-free dishes and a menu will also be available.

Many of the locations and food kiosks in Disney California Adventureincluding Pym Tasting Lab and Terran Treats at Avengers Campuswill offer dishes inspired by the festival.

Visitors over the age of 21 will have the opportunity to discover wines, spirits and beers created throughout the golden state. Beer fans can approach the Paradise Beer Garden, near Paradise Garden Grill, for craft beers by the glass. On Sonoma Terrace, and presented by CORKCICLE, signature cocktails will be served,
salty snacks and much more, all in a pleasant atmosphere.

To make the most of this tasty tour of Californiavisitors can purchase the popular Sip and Savor Pass*, which includes eight tags that can be redeemed for food and non-alcoholic beverages at Festival Marketplaces, and for tasting portions at select participating locations.

Among the various participating businesses, the following stand out: Crowns & Hops Brewery, Brown Estate Winery, McBride Sisters Winery, and Shadow Ridge Distillery, some African-American owned. In addition, Kayla’s Macarons and Flour Shop by Amirah Kassem, women-owned bakeries, will offer sweet treats at special kiosks at Disney California Adventure.

Exciting entertainment, programs and exclusive experiences

the Hollywood Backlot in Hollywood Land it will be home to a varied and tasty selection of entertainment and presentations. The new Disney Junior series “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery” inspires a limited-time festival experience for younger chefs on the Hollywood Backlot Stage. Presented live by Rolly Pin and two animated characters from the series, Alice and Princess Pink, “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party” invites guests ages 3 to 11 to show off their creativity by decorating cupcakes.

Minnie Mouse will carry out a very special visit in which you will admire their talents. This experience has limited seats and reservations for those who wish to participate take place 45 minutes before each show begins.

Visitors can also meet Chef Goofy and dance alongside Chip ‘n’ Dale, turned Jammin’ Chefs serving up tasty new beats using pots and pans.

On Saturdays and Sundays in the Hollywood Backlot Stage, guests of all ages can watch cooking demonstrations led by a mix of Disney chefs and other guests, who will prepare their favorite dishes while sharing culinary secrets. Among the participants this year, the Chef

executive of Disneyland Resort Chris Maggetti, Disneyland Resort Head Pastry Chef Gracie Gomez, Chef Jet Tila, Chef Shachi Mehra, Chef Kevin Bludso and many more. From Friday to Sunday, at the Paradise Beer Garden, visitors can enjoy talks with guest breweries.

The magic of Disney extends throughout Thank you Disney California Adventure to live musical performances, art exhibitions, entertainment for the whole family and crafts for the little ones.

Visitors can extend their festival experience by booking their presence at exclusive events designed to expand their palates and gastronomic wisdom. The exclusive events that are part of this edition of the festival are:

 Wine, beer and cocktail tasting and education seminars at Sonoma Terrace, led by sommeliers, brewing experts and cocktail professionals.

 Winemaker Receptions at Carthay Circle, where visitors can meet wine experts and their industry while tasting unique wine selections and appetizers.

More Dining Fun at the Disneyland Resort

Visitors will find a new line of festival-inspired merchandise for sale, as well as Disney Gift Cards who wear a new design for this edition of the event.

Artists like Jerrod Maruyama, Noah and Ashley Taylor, among others, will sign pieces of their work at Off the Page at Disney California Adventure or at the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District.

The fun doesn’t end here: Soarin’ Over California returns March 4 to Disney California Adventure for a limited time.
