Bariloche is the second city in the most popular Google search engines

For some years now, our city has continued to lead all the rankings of travellers’ preferences and this has been seen in any tourism survey, survey or analysis that has been carried out in recent times.

The sanitary restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic also helped the national market begin to choose between Argentine tourist spots and forget about foreigners for a while.

This was reflected in the two editions of the program promoted by the Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, PreViaje, where our city ranked first among the preferences in both editions and of course, the summer was a boom of people.

Also for the company Aerolineas Argentinas Bariloche he made a point. It is that for more than a year it has been the most sought after destination and where the most people fly to in the interior of the country, even doubling the second most chosen city.

And now, Google Argentina, revealed which are the 20 most popular destinations in its search engine to travel between June and August of this year, that is, according to the searches of Argentines to plan their winter vacations.

And the result was once again surprising: now that it is possible to travel abroad, Bariloche once again competes with different cities in the world, but nonetheless there is no one to stop this marked positioning that has been achieved.

In the first place appears the capital of Spain, Madrid, which is always attractive either to visit it or to take it as a stopover for other European destinations. There, well stuck Bariloche appears in second place, surpassing those who follow: Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Cancun.

The Top Ten is completed with large tourist cities such as Rome (Italy), Miami (United States), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and just in tenth place another national city appears, Ushuaia.

From location eleven to twenty, the following remained: Mendoza, New York, Fort Laurderdale (United States), Paris (France), Salta, Santiago de Chile, London (England), São Paulo (Brazil), Córdoba and Iguazú.
